To Make The Rue
- 2 tbsp Cup 4 Cup brand Multipurpose Flour
- 1/3 c. milk
To Proof the Yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 c warm water (110 degrees)
- 1 pkg active yeast
To Make the Dough
- 1 3/4 c Cup 4 Cup brand Multipurpose Flour (210 grams)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 5 tbsp softened butter
- 1 egg, room temperature
- (cooled rue)
- (proofed yeast)
- 4 tbsp softened butter
- 1/4 c cane sugar
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- (Prior to baking, brush formed rolls with 2-3 tbsp cream)
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 c powdered sugar, sifted
